The Blue Mountains Music Festival began in 1996, originally conceived by Bob Charter and Al Ward over a couple of drinks with Tom Paxton at the Clarendon after a show. Under the astute direction of Charter and Ward, plus the hard work of an army of volunteers, the Festival has since grown to become the jewel in the crown of the Blue Mountains music scene and the most important event of its kind in the Sydney region. These highlights have been selected from years 2007, 2008 and 2009.
